Time to Re-Group

Wednesday September 16. 2009

I do not know how she does it. I do not know how Truly can sleep in, every morning, no matter what time she goes to sleep, until 10 am. That only if I don't wake her. If I don't wake her, who knows how long she will sleep in. I remember when I would sleep in until 12 in the afternoon, but now, the littlest noise will wake me up, and once I'm up....I'm up. So here I am at 7:30am, after waking up at 5:30am writing a blog entry, while my little monster snores away.

With a our wedding ceremony and reception venue finally booked, I can finally ease up on wedding madness, and start re-focusing on everything else. Like blogs, school, Truly. Poor Truly hasn't spent anytime with me since I started this whole wedding endeavor, as I've been on the computer for the last 2 weeks, day and night, searching for wedding places. I ended up deciding on the first place I wanted, but thought it was too expensive. But with their rates on a Sunday cheaper than a Saturday, and deciding to do our own catering, we ended up being able to use that place. So now that that is booked, I can ease up on the reigns a little bit.

Other than that, life has been just fine for the past couple of weeks. Nothing new or interesting to report. Isn't that a shame really. Oh wait, besides that, Truly did scraper her lip on the concrete, and is now walking around with a puffy, red, and scabbed upper lip. Poor baby.

Well, it's going to be 8am, and I think I'm going to wake up my monster early today, so she can take her nap early, so she's not cranky for her ballet class this afternoon.

Off to face the day!

  1. You have such a cute monster!!! LOL!!! How old is she?? Sleeping lights comes with motherhood.

About your wedding plans, can't you get some family members to assist you? It would make the venture easier on yourself and fun as well.

You don't want any 'bags' under your eyes now!
    All the best to you!
