Confessions of a Shopaholic

Today my youngest sister turned 13 and we went to go see Confessions of a Shopaholic. Let me tell you, this movie definitely hit home, right on the target actually. I have been known to live in the malls.  I am at, or relatively close to the limits on all credit cards. I have about 10 credit cards, from store cards to major credit cards. I have been battling with debt since I was 18, and just like in the movie, I have told a cashier or two, "Can you put $10 on this card, $40 on this one, and $30 on this card?"

I loved this movie. I am now finally leaving the cards at home and knowing that that money does not belong to me. Even though I still do not have the best money management skills, I do have a better hold when it comes to credit card debt.

  1. Girl, you are not alone. I had a bunch of credit cards too. Those damned store cards are evil, just plain EVIL I tell ya, lol. I finally got my credit cards paid off this year. I have had my Old Navy since 2004! And just paid it completely off for the first time. Now, I pretend that all I have is a debit card and I leave the other cards at home. I am sure you will get it all under control in time.

Thanks so much for following me. And if you needed to talk about your "situation" feel free to email me, anytime. Whatever I can do to help, advice, etc, I will surely give it a try =)
