New Business = No time for myself

After two weeks of heavy research, plenty of planning, and overload of late nights on the computer, I have officially launched my new business, Advantage Virtual Assistance. As you may or may not know, my first business, Truly Cleaning Services,  is cleaning houses, and after this whole sucky economy thing came on, I have only 2 clients left. It's been a good thing and a bad thing. It has at least made me put my marketing cap back on and starting to promote that business. It also has made me look into other home businesses. As you can tell, going back to work is not an option for me while Truly isn't in school yet. By the time Truly is in kindergarten, I should be done with school and starting to work as a teacher, but until then, having a 9 to 5 is not an option. I have become so used to staying home with Truly, I am determined to find ways to earn money, while not sticking her in daycare all day long. I'd be more depressed than anything else.

So welcome Advantage Virtual Assistance. I have started working as a Virtual Assistant. Well not "started" yet, I have yet to find my 1st client, but I've only been advertising for a day, so give me some time:-). I have the website going, phone line ready, and Iphone waiting for my incoming e-mails. Why a VA? Because I'm on the computer all day long anyway! Plus, from running my cleaning business, I have gained all the administrative skills that other small businesses and professionals are looking for. So I'm super excited and hope that I can find a way to supplement my income.

Looking for a Virtual Assistant? Know anyone who is?
If you refer me to someone, I'll give you one hour free of services, and the person you refer will get one hour free of services when they buy one hour.

Win Win? I think so too :-)

Anywho, here's the website, proof that me being M.I.A for the past 2 weeks was not all lost. I told you I was being productive:

So if you would excuse me, I am off to find more ways to step out of this unemployment line.

JK. I'm not in an employment line. I'm trying to be funny. I know, I can throw people off sometimes.
